A: It depends on the search field critera setup that the Broker has decided to add to her or his website
Q: Do I look at the same information when I search that a Realtor is looking at?
A: Most of the time, the answer is NO. The consumer version of the MLS is meant to give you, the home seeker, a preliminary view of available homes on the market that meet your set of criteria. Sometimes, the home isn't even available because it already has an accepted offer on it. That information is NOT available to you, the consumer.
Q: How can I get more detailed information on a home if I am interested in it?
A: Ask your Realtor to do a detailed search for you. It is the best way to find out what is REALLY currently available along with all the details that your search didn't offer you.
